MESSAGE FROM HQ

The Agency is in full swing leading into end of summer!

We’re currently wrapping up the Fall/Winter catalog artwork, which is by far our best yet (thanks to Agent Sean Cassidy).  We have also been working diligently on our full-length feature video entitled "A Journey Through Sound."  The feedback we received from the promo video was inspiring and motivating for us here at HQ.  Thanks for all the support, fellow Agents!

We would also like to welcome our newest inductees to the illustrious Stereo Sound Agency, Mr. Zach Wagner (aka: Agent 77) and Mr. John Lupfer (aka: Agent PQ)!  Welcome aboard, boys! Now go make us proud!

JOIN OR PERISH!

PETERSON BRINGING THE HEAT

The Agency’s favorite Yacht Man, Clint Peterson (aka: Agent Q379), has an interview in the new issue of Transworld.  Be sure to swing by your local skate shop or newsstand to pick-up a copy today.  You will not be disappointed, but then again, when have you ever been disappointed in the Yacht Man?  That’s right, NEVER!  Clint is always putting in work and dedicated to bringing you nothing short of top-notch skateboarding excellence.

Also, if you already haven’t done so, be sure to check out Mr. Peterson’s part in the new Transworld video, "Let’s Do This," which is in stores now!  Get one!

The Yacht Man is bringing the heat, Agents!

RENAUD: STATIC IN PHILLY

Danny Renaud (aka: Agent 305) has moved to Philly where he is working diligently on his highly anticipated part for the highly anticipated Static III video, which Stereo is especially proud to be a sponsor of.  We here at Stereo are just as excited about this video as you are, Agents.  Sit tight.  Remember, patience is a virtue that's not meant to hurt you.

FAIRFAX AND TODD: INTERNATIONAL AGENCY SHENANIGANS

Benny Fairfax (aka: Agent 93) is back in London with Olly Todd (aka: Agent LT-73), and you know they are up to some serious international Agency shenanigans out there!

Like Agent Renaud, Olly also has a highly anticipated part in the forthcoming Static III video.  Agents, we are literally biting our fingernails in excitement about this video here at Agency HQ!  Patience.  Patience.

By the way, did you happen to see Mr. Todd’s lengthy interview in the July issue of Slap Magazine?  Proper!  Also, can’t forget to mention that Olly has a couple of flicks in the August issue of Slap as well, which just hit newsstands a few weeks back.  Good onya, Todd Mate!

Lastly, did you know that Agent LT-73 is a talented short story writer?  Yes, it’s true, Agents.  We’re going to see if we can get a short story or two of his up on the site soon.

We here at Stereo are very, very pleased to announce that Mr. Fairfax is back on the stuntboard again after being out of commission the last couple of months with a broken ankle.  Benny literally shot his first Adidas ad fresh out of the cast, which is absolute insanity!  Be on the lookout for this Adidas ad making the rounds soon.  The Agency’s King of Style is back with a serious vengeance, Agents!

ALOHA RAMONES!

Dyson Ramones (aka: Agent Aloha) is back in the LBC filming for the Stereo video after taking some time to catch up with family and friends in his home state of Hawaii. Glad to have you back shredding the mainland, Agent Aloha!

SILVA: OPERATION SHRED AND FEND

We’re not exactly sure of the specifics, but Tony Silva (aka: Agent W) is on some type of warp tour situation right now with the Etnies crew.  No doubt he is shredding the gnar and fending the groupies off as we speak somewhere in the greater fifty states.  Be safe out there, Agent W!  We’ll be seeing you soon, comrade!

SHIMIZU ON THE ROAD

Daniel Shimizu (aka: Agent X-1) is currently on a European skate tour with Insight Clothing.    Knowing Agent X-1, we’re sure he is having a delightful time with the Insight folks across the pond.  Check out www.insight51.com for more info on the tour.

Also, be on the look for Shimizu’s part in the new Nike SB film, "Nothing but the Truth," scheduled to drop this coming October.  We heard Agent X-1’s part is an absolute bang-banger!

Speaking of Nike, Shimizu will soon be making the move close to the Nike HQ in Portland.  Best wishes with the relocation to the Pacific Northwest, Agent X-1!

SUPA: BEYOND COMPREHENSION

Danny Supa (aka: Agent 718) had the “Curtains” in the July issue of Slap Magazine spracking a 360° Inward Heel-Flip Big-Spin down a seven stair.  Insanity!  We still don’t quite comprehend that one.  We’ve got five sets of Supa signature series HI FI wheels here for anyone that sends us footage of themselves duplicating said trick down said number of stairs.  E-mail footage to info@stereosoundagency.com.

Also, be on the lookout for Supa’s part in the upcoming Nike film.  We heard his part is an absolute jaw dropper.  Shock and awe, Agents!

PASTRAS AND LEE: AGENCY BUOYANT

Aside from keeping the Agency ship afloat, our fearless Co-Captains, Chris Pastras (Agent 547) and Jason Lee (aka: Agent 0-470), have been holding it down on all fronts.

Co-Captain Pastras has a lengthy interview in the August issue of Slap Magazine, which you definitely need to get your hands on, if you haven’t already.  Additionally, he recently had a solo art exhibition back in July at the Pursuit Gallery in Burlington, VT.  You can see footage from the show in the news section of our website as well as on our Myspace blog.

In other news, Agent 547 is currently healing from a dislocated big toe and torn ligaments in his foot, but should be mobbing around on his Agency Cruiser and shredding the new quarter pipe on his deck overlooking Echo Park by the time you read this.  Pastras calls his new ramp the Blender ramp.  Check the photo on the right to find out why.

As for Lee, he recently completed a 20x24 Polaroid series project that’s slated for publication/exhibition next year.  We’ll surely keep you posted about this project as we learn more.

Lee also recently photographed famed architectural photographer Julius Shulman for an upcoming issue of Anthem Magazine, so be on the lookout for that hitting the newsstands soon.

Lastly, Lee has been working hard on season three of "My Name Is Earl," which premiers this coming September.  Congrats, Co-Captain Lee!

Busy.  Busy.  Busy.

WELCOME ABOARD!

We here at Stereo would officially like to welcome our newest ams Zach Wagner (aka: Agent 77) and John Lupfer (aka: Agent PQ) to the team.  Welcome aboard, boys!  Be sure to check both Zach and John’s footage out in our new promo vid.  These boys definitely aren’t playing around!  You can also check Lupher’s “Who’s Hot” spotlight in the new Skateboarder Magazine. Expect to be seing a lot from Mr. Wagner and Mr. Lupher in the near future.  These Agents are hungry like the wolf!

STEREO PROMO VIDEO UPDATE

By now most of you have probably already seen or heard about our new promo video entitled "A Journey Through Sound" that’s been circulating around the internet throughout the past week.
"A Journey Through Sound" was rated #80 on Youtube’s overall “Top Favorites” last week.  Our “info@” e-mail inbox has been flooded with questions asking about when and where the promo video will be made available, if at all.

After tossing some ideas around the Agency roundtable, we have decided that, going forward copies of the promo video will now be given away free with the purchase of all new Stereo decks.

Be on the lookout for this combo package on our website and in finer skate shops near you shortly.

FEATURED SOUND AGENT

This featured Sound Agent doesn’t need any introduction.  We’ll let his e-mail do the talking:

My name is Agent 1988.

I'm quite the agent, if I must say. First, I have a mission log, which I update on a regular basis, detailing my missions and such. In January, I will be traveling to Tokyo, Japan, to spread the word of the Sound Agency's plan for world domination.  In addition, I represent the wonderful act of skateboarding almost everyday of the week, going covert into the concrete jungle, always on the lookout for quality Stereo gear, while steering clear of the local trollops. Always with the Stereo smile on my face, I pop kickflips, noseslide ledges, and ollie the occasional stairset with the Stereo style!

Check me out!

Agent 1988

Now that’s what we like to see!

Agent 1988, be on the lookout for a box of Stereo goodies heading your way!

Do you think you should be our next Featured Sound Agent?  If so, send us an email telling us why: info@stereosoundagency.com.

WRAP UP

You have officially been briefed, fellow Agents.  You know what needs to be done.  As always, sleep with one eye open and remember to check our website (www.stereosoundagency.com) and Myspace page (www.myspace.com/stereosoundagency) frequently and religiously for updates.

Ciao,

The Minister of Information
