Ellay Khule and Eastside Bastards "AK 187"
The homie Dstzero recently posted this video of Ellay Khule (a.k.a.: The Rifleman) and Eastside Bastards performing live at the legendary Goodlife Café in South Central Los Angeles circa 1994. Titled “AK 187,” this track was created as a diss towards rapper Capital AK who, unfortunately, wasn’t in the crowd that evening. Not sure what the beef was about, but it’s clear that Khule and The Bastards are a bit disappointed that AK wasn’t there to heed the performance. Khule then goes on to say how he had just made the beat the night beforehand. A classic Blowed performance.
Check out THIS interview I conducted with Khule for Vapors Magazine back in 2001. Now I’ve done a myriad amount of interviews over the years, but this one still stands as one of my all-time favorites.
