Back in the day...

The two photos below appear courtesy of my good friend Jon Keehn (a.k.a. Big Wig).  He’s the tall dude with the blue button up shirt, shaved head and glasses. The photos were taken at my 22nd birthday party here in San Francisco back in 2001, almost 8 years ago to the day.  I have no clue who the photo credit goes to.  

The party was at my old house on 25th Avenue, Richmond side.  Definitely a rager for the books. I remember the cops showed up like five times throughout the night.  I still can’t believe they didn’t haul me in.  S.F. was a much different place back then.  This town was like the old Barbary Coast for a while after the dotcom crash of 2000.

I turn dirty 30 a week from Friday.  Eeesh.  All I have to say is, where in the hell have the years gone?  Seriously.  

I still keep in touch with most of the people in these two photos.  There are a couple folks, however, that I have completely lost touch with.  (Krafty, where you at?)

A friend recently sent me these photos of the old SF CREW! These photos are about 8 years old. All the homies moved on to great things. Some became legit writers on paper and other became legit writers on other things. Some moved to NY and others have families. This photo brings back memories. We used to post up hard with the entire crew. We might need to reshoot it for 09.

I agree.  We definitely need to track everyone down for a reshoot in '09.

Jon is currently working on scanning a bunch of old shots of everyone from back in the day and I plan to do the same, so be on the lookout for an old school photo gallery in the coming weeks.  There are some gems!
