"Call me a hesher -- I could care less..."

17 years later and Henry Sanchez' part in the Blind “Tim and Henry’s Pack of Lies” promo video still stands as one of my favorite video parts of all time.  I actually have an original VHS copy of this video (with the original box) that I purchased at the skate shop back in the summer of 1992.  I’ve watched the tape so many times over the years that I’m surprised it actually still plays.

This video part, in my opinion, is street skating in its rawest form and never fails to get me stoked to go skate.  The Black Sabbath “Symptoms of the Universe” track is also a nice touch and fits Sanch’s skating perfectly.  I remember Sanch had an interview in an old Thrasher Magazine back in 1993 where he’s quoted saying: “Call me a hesher – I could care less.”  The quote also appeared on the cover of the mag.  Classic!

All these big budget, over rehearsed, over dramatic videos today don’t got nothing on this.  Respect.

agreed, one of the best skate flicks out there. still have my OG copy too. 08 saw a return to that format by many companies, lame and not so lame, releasing short but good promos.

Yes, one of the best parts ever. It's rad how fast he skated while doing tech tricks. This gets me hyped to skate also.
