Friday Trivia Contest Update, the beast we know as SF Gate…
A couple of things:
I know the suspense leading up to this week’s guest trivia contest has been nail biting, but I’m afraid I’m going to have to postpone it until Monday morning. I know this news may be frustrating, especially since I’ve been hyping this thing up for over a week now, but you’ll understand my reasoning for doing so come Monday a.m. The prize alone will make the wait well worth it. Stay tuned…
Moving on, and this is an interesting tidbit, earlier today I read that the San Francisco Chronicle’s website, SFGate.com, is ranked number 34 out of over 1.5 million sites on the worldwide web. Facebook ranks number 32, followed by Gmail at 33. Flickr, not surprisingly, is currently ranked as numero uno. I knew the Chronicle’s website was big, just not THAT big.
And on that note, comrades, be sure to check out this week’s “City Sports” column that appeared in yesterday's paper. Lot's of good stuff going on this weekend, such as the grand opening of the new Potrero Del Sol skate park tomorrow in SF. Be there. We will.
